Strategic Communication · Founders & Complex Businesses

You built something
genuinely good.
Something is getting lost.

When you explain what you do - to buyers, investors, your own team - something gets lost between what you built and what they understand. We find exactly what that is. And fix it.

Where We Start

The Clarity Audit.
Not a call.
A diagnosis.

A structured diagnostic that finds exactly where your message breaks down - and hands you the framework to fix it. Before a single asset is made.

Great ideas fail
at the moment of explanation.

You have built something worth noticing. The gap between what you built and what your audience understands is quietly costing you deals, investors, and trust - every single day.

Empty boardroom - the room where clarity matters most
01
You over-explain. They under-understand.

When you know your product deeply, it is nearly impossible to communicate it simply. The curse of knowledge kills more deals than bad products ever will.

02
Every demo runs long. Every pitch needs a follow-up.

When the message isn't structured, you compensate with time. Longer calls. More slides. More explanations. The problem is never the audience. It's the story.

03
First impressions are permanent across every market.

Your prospect decides in seconds whether to keep listening. That window does not get longer just because your product is genuinely good. A strategically structured narrative earns that attention every time - in any room, with any audience.

04
Everyone on the team explains it differently.

Without a single source-of-truth narrative, every founder, sales rep, and partner tells a different story. Inconsistency erodes trust before a buyer even reaches a decision.

"Every founder knows the moment. You finish explaining what you built. There's a pause. Then: 'So it's kind of like X?' And X is nothing like what you built." That pause is a communication gap. And it is fixable.

From first conversation
to assets that close.

Every engagement follows the same rigorous sequence. We never produce before we diagnose. We never design before we write. Strategy comes first. Always.

Diagnosis
The Clarity Audit
7 days  ·  $1,500 – $2,500  ·  Standalone

Before anything is written or produced, we audit everything your business currently says - your website, your pitch, your demos, your sales scripts. We find the exact point where a buyer stops understanding. The exact slide where an investor loses the thread. The exact paragraph where trust breaks down. Nothing is prescribed yet. This is purely about finding the truth.

After this step you have
A written diagnosis of every point where your communication currently breaks down
An ICP communication map showing what your buyer needs to hear at each decision point
A positioning recommendation - the angle that is defensibly yours
A narrative brief that every subsequent step is built from
02
Architecture
Narrative Construction
1 – 2 weeks  ·  Follows the Audit  ·  Included in full engagements

Once the gap is diagnosed, we build the structure that closes it. Not a tagline. Not a headline. A complete logical sequence - the precise order in which your story needs to be told so a stranger goes from zero context to confident understanding. This becomes your single source-of-truth narrative. Every asset, every team member, every market draws from it.

After this step you have
A core narrative document - the strategic foundation everything else is built from
A message hierarchy showing what to lead with in which context
Audience-specific language variants for each buyer type
Sign-off agreement before a single word of production begins
03
Production
Asset Creation
2 – 4 weeks  ·  Scope agreed upfront

The narrative becomes the assets. Whatever format your situation requires, the strategic foundation is already right. Production is the step that turns clarity into the materials that go in front of buyers, investors, and markets - built from the brief, not briefed from scratch.

After this step you have
Finished communication assets built from the agreed narrative
Every format speaking from the same strategic foundation
Assets ready to deploy in the specific rooms you need to win
A reusable source document so future assets maintain narrative consistency
04
Deployment
Adapt & Deploy
Ongoing or project-based  ·  Discussed at scope stage

A core narrative is a living asset. We adapt it for the specific rooms you need to win - investor meetings, enterprise demos, new market entry, cross-border expansion. Every version stays rooted in the same strategic truth. The story does not change. The way it is told does.

After this step you have
Audience-calibrated versions of the core narrative for each context
Team alignment so every person in the business tells the same story
A clear process for updating the narrative as the business evolves
An ongoing relationship structured around what the business actually needs next

Four situations.
One underlying problem.

The message is not landing. It does not matter whether you are pitching investors, closing enterprise deals, building your public profile, or entering a new market. The fix always starts in the same place - understanding exactly where the story breaks down.

For Founders Raising Capital

Investor Narrative

Your pitch deck is only as good as the story it carries. We build the narrative that makes investors feel the weight of the opportunity - not just the data behind it. The difference between a room that leans in and one that politely moves on is almost always the story, not the product.

For Founders Losing Deals

Sales and Demo Narrative

When a 40-minute demo still ends with "let us think about it" - the product is not the problem. We restructure how you explain what you built so a buyer understands the value before you finish the first slide. Shorter demos. Clearer decisions. Fewer follow-ups.

For Founders Who Are the Brand

Founder Communication

How you speak shapes how your company is perceived. We help founders articulate their vision clearly to boards, teams, press, and the market - in their own voice, made sharper. Because the way you tell your story is the first thing every stakeholder judges you on.

For Founders Entering New Markets

Market Entry Communication

Entering a new market means communicating across cultural contexts, not just translating language. We build narratives that land with the same clarity wherever your buyers are - because what works in one room rarely works in another without deliberate architecture.

Before

"Our compliance platform eliminates manual audit cycles and provides real-time visibility across all regulatory frameworks, enabling enterprises to reduce compliance overhead by up to 67% while maintaining full audit readiness across jurisdictions."

After WanderWork

"Enterprise compliance used to mean months of manual work. Our platform cuts that to hours - so your team spends less time on paperwork and more time building the product your customers actually need."

You keep fixing
the wrong thing.

Better slides. A new designer. A tighter talk track. None of it moves the room because none of it is the actual problem. The problem is the narrative underneath. That is what WanderWork fixes.

Diagnosis before deliverables

We start with a Clarity Audit, not a brief. Every project begins by finding exactly where your communication breaks. Nothing gets built until we know what is actually wrong.

One narrative that feeds everything

What we build is not a pitch deck or a homepage. It is the story that makes the pitch deck land, the homepage convert, and the sales call close. One architecture. Everything downstream benefits.

Revenue, not reach

We measure success in deals closed and investors engaged. Not impressions. Not follower counts. Not brand awareness scores that nobody can connect to a business outcome.

Everything you might
want to know first.

What exactly is WanderWork?
WanderWork is a strategic communication firm. We find the gap between what a founder built and what the market understands - and we close it through narrative architecture, structured audits, and high-stakes communication assets. We are not a video agency, a copywriting service, or a traditional PR agency. We sit upstream of all of those - building the foundation they all need to work from.
Who do you work with?
Primarily founders of B2B SaaS and technical businesses who are losing deals, pitches, or investor conversations they should be winning - not because their product is weak but because the story around it is not doing its job. We also work with professional services firms, consulting practices, and complex businesses where communication clarity has a direct impact on revenue.
What is the Clarity Audit?
The Clarity Audit is our entry product and the starting point for every engagement. It is a structured diagnostic that analyses everything your business currently says - your website, your pitch, your demos, your sales materials - and finds exactly where the message breaks down. You receive a messaging gap report, an ICP communication map, a positioning recommendation, and a narrative framework document. Priced at $1,500 to $2,500 depending on scope. Delivered in 7 days.
How is this different from hiring a copywriter?
A copywriter executes your brief - they make your existing story sound better. WanderWork diagnoses whether the story itself is right before anything is written. We find the structural problem first. The copy, the video, the deck - those are outputs of the strategic work, not the starting point. If you brief a copywriter on a broken narrative, you get polished broken copy. We fix the narrative before anything gets produced.
What happens after the Clarity Audit?
The audit is a standalone product - you own the output and can act on it however you choose. Most clients move directly into Narrative Architecture, where we build the story structure that closes the gap the audit identified. That engagement is scoped based on what the audit finds. Some clients use the audit to brief their existing team or agency. Either way, you leave with a clear picture of what is broken and how to fix it.
How do you price your work?
Every engagement is a flat project fee agreed before any work begins. No hourly rates, no scope creep invoices. The Clarity Audit is $1,500 to $2,500 depending on scope. Full project engagements covering narrative architecture and asset production typically range from $3,000 to $12,000 depending on deliverables and complexity. Ongoing retainers are available after a completed project and are structured based on what the working relationship actually needs.
Do you work with businesses outside the US?
Yes. We work with founders and businesses globally. Our work is particularly relevant for founders entering new markets or communicating across cultural contexts - where the gap between what you mean and what the market hears is widest. All engagements are conducted in English and priced in USD.
How long does a full engagement take?
The Clarity Audit is delivered in 7 days. Full engagements covering narrative architecture and asset production typically run 3 to 6 weeks depending on scope and deliverables. We outline timelines clearly at the scoping stage so you know exactly what to expect before work begins.
We are pre-revenue. Can we still work together?
Yes. Pre-revenue companies often need communication support the most - for fundraising conversations, early customer pitches, and building credibility with a market that does not know you yet. The Clarity Audit is particularly useful at this stage because it ensures the story is right before you take it anywhere important.
What does the first conversation look like?
A free 30-minute Discovery Call. No pitch, no pressure. We ask about your business, the communication problem you are facing, and the outcome you need. From there we tell you honestly whether the Clarity Audit makes sense for where you are right now - and if it does, we scope it and send an invoice the same day.

Let's find the gap between
what you built and
what the world understands.

That gap has a name. It has a location. And it is fixable - but only once someone has looked at your communication honestly and found exactly where it breaks down. That is where we start. Every time.
